Tobson Cottage

Originally a traditional croft house Tobson Cottage has recently been refurbished and is now fully equipped for self catering.

Tobson is a small Crofting hamlet on the Island of Bernera. The island is on the west coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides and is connected to the main island by a bridge that crosses the Atlantic Ocean!

Situated within its own grounds, close to a sandy cove, where seals and otters are regularly spotted, Tobson Cottage is the perfect location for fishing, bird watching, wildlife, flowers, hill walking or just getting away from it all.

A five minute drive from the cottage are the beautiful Bosta Sands, where recent excavations revealed the site of an Iron Age settlement. Bernera also offers the ideal location for exploring the very scenic district of Uig, where the famous Lewis Chessmen were found.

The range of landscape in Bernera and Uig is breathtaking with stunning white beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see, the area is considered by many to be the most beautiful part of the Hebrides.

Relax and unwind in the natural splendour of Uig and Bernera amidst the seclusion of the environment and the warmth and friendliness of the local people Views of Tobson Village
